Drankenshopper
Be the smartest negotiator
In Drankenshopper you take part in a beverage auction, in which the most beautiful and coveted bottles are offered for sale. If you play the game smartly, you might go home with the finest collections by bidding, negotiating, swapping or even bluffing. But beware, because other players may have a hidden agenda too!
Drankenshopper is the perfect card game for adult gaming enthusiasts with a penchant for the world of spirits. All 40 playing cards also feature clear information, bright pictures and a unique web page where all information about the product can be found.

How can you play Drankenshopper?
In the simplest form you use only the bottle cards and money cards: Drankenshopper is then a standard buy-and-exchange game with very few rules.
It gets really fun in the most elaborate variant, which you play preferably with 4 to 5 players, in which case you also use the role cards and chance cards included with the game.
Moreover, the game concept is extremely flexible, so there is nothing stopping you from adding additional rules yourself, turning your Drankenshopper into a game you can use in any company and on any occasion for at least half an hour of fun.
Role cards
At the start of the game, you make a (blind) choice from one of the five role cards. The role card you draw will determine how you enter the auction and which bottles are most valuable to you and which are not. Of course, you try to keep it a secret for as long as possible which cards are most interesting to you, because if your opponents find out, they will immediately increase the price for those bottles.
Bluff
Each player has one 0 card at the start of the game. With this card you can, through bluffing, artificially raise the price during mandatory trading with another player.
A little bit of luck
Of course, as a player, you must also have the requisite amount of luck to emerge from the auction as a master shopper. Here and there, there are chance cards hidden in the deck that can turn the game upside down for yourself or for another player of your choice.
Who has the best strategy?
Do you go to extremes to put together the largest and most valuable collection and take risks? Or do you play “safe” and secure your incomplete collections in the safe before then? As long as your valuable collections are not stored in the safe, they are vulnerable to hijackers on the coast, but once the collection is in the safe, you cannot expand it yourself for the ultimate collection bonus.
Attacking and defending
As long as a player has not stored his collection in the vault, his bottles are vulnerable to aggressive buyers: if a player is challenged to a mandatory exchange, he will have to follow suit and defend his bottles with all means at his disposal.
Is Drankenshopper a drinking game?
No, Drankenshopper is not a “drinking game”! It is a party game for adults that does not encourage drinking at any time. Drankenshopper is all about buying and trading bottles of liquor and focuses entirely on building a valuable collection of bottles.
If you are looking for a “drinking game,” then Drankenshopper is not for you.
All bottles in the auction
A total of up to 40 bottles will be auctioned off in a game of Drankenshopper. If you are curious about the 40 spirits that will pass the auction in random order, take a quick look at the Drankenshopper card index!
